When animating, I always love the blocking part. This is where the animation is at its basics, and by creating good poses you can tell a story.
When moving on from the blocking stage, I always get nervous for some reason. I think it has something to do with the fact that it gets way more complicated at that point.
Nevertheless, a good blocking stage helps a lot when moving on.
